Meet Our LHPH Family
Dr. Sharon Kensek graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. After graduation, she was an associate veterinarian in Richmond and Northern Virginia where her employers cautioned her to spend no more than 5 minutes with each appointment because any longer would not be “cost-effective” for their practice. That’s why Dr. Kensek decided to open Lee’s Hill Pet Hospital in 1999 so she could practice patient-focused medicine. She is actively involved in every aspect of the practice, from surgery suite to the appointment book. When she’s not at LHPH, Dr. Kensek enjoys one of her many hobbies, like hiking, bicycling, attending craft shows, and sharing good food with friends.
